The process of psychological assessment is a multi-step process, based on the individual and the reasons for the assessment. We offer both comprehensive personality assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children, teens, and adults. Our services include the following:
Clinical Evaluations to Assess:
Personality organization and overall psychological functioning
Trauma-informed assessments to evaluate for trauma-related disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder and/or dissociative disorders
Psycho-educational Evaluations to Assess:
Needs for special academic accommodations
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Private school admissions testing
Pre-employment (post-offer) psychological evaluations for police officers and other public safety candidates
Fitness for duty
When relevant, we take a trauma-informed perspective and our foundation for assessment rests on the knowledge that people experience the effects of trauma in a variety of ways. This often results in a number of diagnoses and confusion about appropriate treatment recommendations. We have specialized training and experience in providing trauma-informed assessments aimed at providing clarity regarding diagnosis, personality and emotional functioning, strengths, and areas for growth, as well as, practical treatment recommendations.
The fees for psychological assessment services vary based on the referral question and anticipated range of time required to complete the process. Fees include a clinical interview, consultation time, face-to-face administration of psychological tests, a feedback session, and written report. For more information, please call us at 215-399-4128.
