We maintain a 24- hour cancellation policy, except in the case of serious illness, emergency, or weather-related issues. If you do not call to cancel your appointment at least 24-hours prior to the time of your session, you will be charged the full session fee.
* Please note, insurance companies do not cover the cost of no-show fees, and your therapist's individual, full fee will be charged prior to your next appointment.
We view therapy as a mutual, meaningful commitment from both the client and the therapist. There needs to be trust on both sides that sessions will be as regular and consistent as possible. Multiple cancellations or no-shows may result in the termination of services, as this interferes with the process of therapy and is disruptive to treatment.
You may be charged for between-session contacts, including phone calls, emails, and texts. This is not covered by insurance benefits and is at the discretion of your therapist. You will not be charged for contacts related to scheduling issues and routine contacts with other health care providers as a part of treatment coordination.
If using your health insurance benefits to cover the cost of our services, it is considered your responsibility to ensure your benefits are active at the time services are provided and that you immediately alert your therapist to any change in your health plan or insurance policy. You will be responsible for paying the cost of any services provided if they are denied or rejected by your health plan.
